Privacy Policy

In providing the Service, the Company collects the following information.

• Account information: email address, display name, profile image, and identifiers obtained from authentication providers (such as Apple / Google).
• Anniversary information registered by users: the name of the anniversary, the name of the person concerned, date of birth, relationship, notes, photos, and other information entered and saved by the user in the app.
• Group and sharing information: participation status in collaborative editing groups, invitation codes, and anniversaries shared within a group.
• Contact information (optional / premium feature): only when you use the "Import Contacts" feature, and after obtaining the device’s access permission, we read the names, birthdays, and anniversaries registered in your contacts. The information read is displayed on the device, and only the items the user selects and imports are saved as anniversaries. We do not transmit or store the contact list itself on the Company’s servers.
• Device and usage information: OS version, device model, app version, language settings, time zone, push notification token, crash logs (Firebase Crashlytics), and usage analytics data (events such as screen views and feature usage via Firebase Analytics).
• Billing information: purchase history and subscription status provided by the App Store / Google Play and payment processing services (such as RevenueCat). The Company does not collect payment credit information such as credit card numbers.

The Company uses the information collected for the following purposes.

• To provide and operate the Service and to authenticate users
• To save, display, and provide advance notifications (push notifications and local notifications) of anniversaries
• To provide the calendar collaborative editing feature with family and friends
• To provide paid plans and manage billing status
• To respond to inquiries and support, and to investigate and respond to violations of the Terms
• To analyze the causes of defects, improve features, develop new features, and improve quality
• To notify users of important announcements, changes to the Terms of Service, and campaign information
• To respond to requests from laws or public authorities

Except in the following cases, the Company will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the user’s prior consent.

• When based on laws and regulations
• When necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
• When particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
• When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or a party entrusted by them in carrying out affairs prescribed by laws and regulations

The Company uses the following external services to the extent necessary to provide the Service. These services handle information under appropriate security control measures in accordance with each company’s privacy policy.

• Google LLC (Firebase): for authentication, database (Cloud Firestore), cloud functions, push notifications (FCM), and crash reports
• Apple Inc. / Google LLC: for app distribution and processing of in-app purchases
• RevenueCat, Inc.: for subscription management and verification of purchase status

When a user joins a calendar collaborative editing group, the anniversary information registered within the group and the display names of editors are shared with all other members participating in the group. Anniversaries registered individually by a user (those not linked to a group) are not shared with other users.

The Company takes necessary and appropriate measures—such as encryption of communications, management of access privileges, log auditing, and employee training—to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of personal information and to otherwise ensure the secure management of personal information.

The Company retains personal information only for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of use, and when the purpose of use has been achieved or the retention period prescribed by law has elapsed, it will delete or anonymize the information within a reasonable period. If you wish to delete your account, you can do so from "Settings → Delete Account" within the app.

Users may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, and suspension of provision to third parties of their own personal information held by the Company. Requests should be sent to the contact point at the end of this Policy. After verifying the identity of the individual, we will respond in accordance with the law.

On the Company’s website (daye.keel-lab.com), we may use the minimum necessary cookies and similar technologies to understand and improve the usage of the site. The app itself does not use these technologies.

When a minor uses the Service, please use it after obtaining the consent of a legal representative such as a person with parental authority. If the Company becomes aware of personal information concerning a child under 13 years of age, it will delete such information within a reasonable period.

The Company may change this Policy in response to changes in laws or changes in the content of the Service. We will give advance notice of important changes within the app or on this website.
